蒲强，男，副教授，博士(后)，硕士生导师。毕业于电子科技大学计算机科学与工程学院，获计算机系统结构专业工学博士学位。现成都大学计算机学院工作，曾在美国匹兹堡大学(University of Pittsburgh)、卡内基梅隆大学(Carnegie Mellon University)访问研究2年，参与美国NSF资助项目：User-centric, Adaptive and Collaborative Information Filtering；曾在法国约瑟夫傅里叶大学(Universite Joseph Fourier)从事博士后研究工作近1年。在国内外重要学术刊物和会议发表论文30余篇，获专利和软件著作授权4项。主持主研30余项纵向、横向项目，担任系统架构、软件、算法设计总师，项目上主要从事智能交通、农业、环保、医疗等领域研究和开发工作。
研究方向：
主要从事计算智能、模式识别、机器学习、数据挖掘、智能信息检索、统计语言模型及相关算法的研究工作。研究方向为：深度学习、模式识别、物理化学交叉学科大数据挖掘与分析、基于位置服务、统计语言模型、用户合作模型、文本及多媒体信息检索等。
